Renee Angle
Program Director & Co-Teacher

A poet and printmaker, Renee Angle has spent her career designing arts education programs for youth and teaching University creative writing courses.
She's been homeschooling her child for 4+ years and brings her background in community and cultural development, art, literature to the co-op.

She is passionate about supporting diverse learners and creating environments in which they thrive.

Juna Donegan
Lead Teacher
​
Juna has been working with children her whole life, beginning as a teenage summer camp counselor at North Branch School in Afton, Virginia. She led afterschool programs in college, and went on to work at the Friends School and as a nanny and homeschool teacher for LGBTQ families. Most recently she has been working in outdoor education, teaching at Farm & Forest School at the Pearlstone Center and as a Preschool Teacher at Notchcliff Nature Programs. Read more.

Emily McCrea
Educational Consultant & Curriculum Development

Emily McCrea is the founder and former director of Downtown Community School Inc. a non-profit educational institution and advocacy center which operated in Tucson Az, from 2010-2020. She is also the creator of Rebel Shift Childhood LLC, coaching and consulting. Her work is dedicated to honoring self-expression, providing supportive and inclusive cutting-edge support, with a neurologically sound approach that creates emotional safety and healthy sustainable relationships. Ocho
Mascot and Emotional Support

A 6 year old Boston Terreir, Ocho spends his days snuggling kids, snacking on carrots, chasing balls, chewing sticks, and going for walks. At Rosewood Learning Commons, he provides emotional support.
